Constitution of the Ontario West Table Tennis Association

Chapter 1: General Provisions

Name: Ontario West Table Tennis Association (OWTTA).”

The Ontario West Table Tennis Association, abbreviated as OWTTA, is an independent, professional, non-profit social organization formed voluntarily by table tennis enthusiasts in the western region of Ontario. It is officially registered with Corporations Canada.

The objectives of the OWTTA are to work with all table tennis enthusiasts and players in the western region of Ontario, strengthen connections and cooperation with other table tennis associations and clubs, enhance challenge as well as friendship among associations and athletes, and promote the development of table tennis sport in the western region.

Registered address: 5570 Kennedy Rd, Mississauga, ON L4Z 2A9.

Chapter 2: Scope of Operations of the Ontario West Table Tennis Association

  1. Promoting table tennis sports locally.
  2. Forming and hosting various table tennis competitions and activities.
  3. Organization of technical training.
  4. Active participation in charity table tennis sport activities and promote the sport in local communities.
  5. The operations may involve some sale of goods, and the income will be used as funds for the association’s activities.
  6. OWTTA adheres to the principles of honesty, integrity, fairness, and impartiality, without engaging in fraud or harming the interests of society, the association, and its members to do the job.

Chapter 3: Membership

Currently, membership in OWTTA is free, and it will be further discussed in the next meeting.

Members are entitled to the following rights:

  1. The right to vote, be elected, and participate in decision-making.
  2. The right to participate in association activities.
  3. Priority access to the services provided by the association.
  4. The right to voluntary membership and withdrawal.
  5. The right to access the association’s constitution, meeting records, resolutions, and financial audit reports.
  6. The right to criticize, make suggestions, and supervise.
  7. The right to participate in and organize various related competitions and activities.

Chapter 4: Board of Directors

The powers and responsibilities of the Board of Directors include:

  1. Formulating and amending the constitution.
  2. Establishing and amending membership fee standards.
  3. Establishing and amending election procedures.
  4. Electing or dismissing directors, chairman of the board, and supervisors.
  5. Reviewing the work reports and financial reports of the Board of Directors and the Supervisory Board.
  6. Reviewing the annual financial budget and final accounts proposed by the Board of Directors.
  7. Making resolutions on significant changes, termination, dissolution, and liquidation of the association.
  8. Modifying or revoking inappropriate decisions of the Board of Directors.
  9. Deciding on other significant matters.

安省西部乒乓球协会章程

第一章 总则

1、名称:安省西部乒乓球协会,英文ONTARIO WEST TABLE TENNIS ASSOCIATION。缩写:OWTTA,简称:西部乒协。

2、西部乒协是由安省西部乒乓球爱好者自愿组成的独立的、专业的非营利性社会团体法人,在Corporations Canada正式登记注册。

3、西部乒协的宗旨:遵守法律、法规和国家政策,团结安省西部所有的乒乓球爱好者及选手,加强与其它乒乓球协会及俱乐部的联系和合作,增进各乒乓球协会和运动员的友谊,推广西部地区乒乓球事业的发展。

第二章 西部乒协的业务范围

  1. 宣传推广乒乓球活动。
  2. 组队参与及举办乒乓球各项比赛。
  3. 组织乒乓球技术培训。
  4. 积极参与慈善团体举办的活动,以乒乓球运动的特色协助善款的筹措;推动乒乓球运动的开展。
  5. 业务范围不以盈利为前提,可以涉及商品销售,收入将作为乒协活动经费。
  6. 本会开展业务活动时,遵循诚实守信、公正公平原则,不弄虚作假,不损害社会、本协会和会员的利益。

第三章  会员

目前西部乒协会员为免费入会,明年再开会讨论。

会员享有下列权利:

本会的选举权、被选举权和表决权;

(二)参加本会的活动权;

(三)获得本会服务的优先权;

(四)入会自愿、退会自由权;

(五)查阅本会章程、会员名册、会议记录、会议决议、财务审计报告等知情权;

(六)批评建议权和监督权;

(七)参与和举办各项相关比赛活动;

第四章:理事会

理事会的职权:

  1. 制定、修改章程。
  2. 制定、修改会费标准。
  3. 制定、修改选举办法。
  4. 选举或者罢免理事、监事长、监事。
  5. 审议理事会、监事会的工作报告和财务报告。
  6. 审议理事会的年度财务预决算方案。
  7. 对本会重大事项变更、终止解散和清算等事项做出决议。
  8. 改变或者撤销理事会不适当的决定。
  9. 决定其他重大事宜。
